INTERMUNDIA

Intermundia, a space in between worlds where goads coexist.
A concept associated with harmony, togetherness and freedom.
But couldn’t it possibly be a space where the human need for power is foreshadowed?
Or perhaps intermundia is created by all of us.
“We have found ourselves in between worlds that we can’t yet inhabit.”

In Search Of The Right Medication

As a group of friends who share some important axes in ways of thinking and feeling, we identify a mutual journey concerning individual and common inner struggles. We question the meaning of dependence and independence, and explore the thin balance between accepting and offering support by choice and not by need. Our belief in the power of community adds to our individual strength. Through a collaborative process, we look at anxiety, panic, overwhelming sensations and perseverance, finding ways of sharing the ‘weight’, accepting discomfort, and giving and receiving support through togetherness.

We examine how different rhythms mirror our varied emotional states and confront the intrusion of external forces upon our personal space. And when we reach the brink of exhaustion, we seek healing and calmness. This performance is not just a reflection of individual struggles, but a celebration of our collective capacity for growth, empathy, and understanding.

I Know, We Know

She knows what we know, and we know what she knows. A movement dialogue between two dancers that explores the certainty and uncertainty of the questions and answers posed. Where does the conviction of our movements, decisions, or life trajectories end? Where we should be heading in the right direction and where we will find the right answer. How our certainty can slowly become uncertainty

M.amor

Our mothers have already read us plenty of fairy tales about princesses, princes, and happy endings. Our mothers read them to their mothers, our grandmothers, and their mothers before them. And what role do mothers of princes and princesses hold in fairy tales? And what role do they hold in our stories? A mother’s love is one of the strongest bonds. A mother protects, a mother defends, a mother worries, a mother owns, a mother gives, a mother takes, a mother loves, a mother is black, a mother is white, the mother is Runa, the mother is Nyola.
